February 29, 2008 through March 2, 2008, Team Kirage competed at the Compete Nationals, a NASKA 5A rated tournament in Ontario, CA. The following is a list of how each team member placed in their respective divisions:

Pat Underwood:

• 4th Place - 18 & up Men’s Black Belt Extreme Weapons
• 6th Place - 18 & up Men’s Black Belt Extreme Forms
• 8th Place - 18 - 29 Men’s Black Belt Hard Style Traditional Weapons
• 9th Place - 18-29 Mens’ Black Belt Japanese/Okinawan Traditional Forms

Connor Griffith:

• 1st Place -  12-13 Red & Brown Belt Musical Weapons
• 4th Place - 12-13 Red & Brown Traditional Forms
• 6th Place - 12-13 Red & Brown Traditional Weapons
